Some first pictures from our little girl...less than 3 days old today.

The nurse thought we were too cute, so took a picture of our new family hanging out in the hospital bed.

This cradle was made for me by my mom's uncle (I think?). Anyways, it's the perfect size for our dainty little miss.

A longish labor but mom and baby and dad are doing great.

Overdue...

It does make me feel a little like a library book: I am now 6 days over my due date.

Nothing new to report, but hopefully things will be moving forward (a little faster?) soon.Stu and I are very ready to meet our new baby; our house has never been cleaner! We had a nice date weekend together last weekend. Hopefully, it was our last weekend without a baby!

Thanks for all of the good thoughts--  I know if thoughts made babies come faster, I would have given birth ages ago.

Getting closer...

So we're getting closer to delivery! Feel free to check this blog from time to time. It will be where all the pictures go (of the ones that are going online) for ease of access. I might even get into writing blog posts too! Who knows.

I have lots of friends who have gone the blogging route and I definitely enjoy the fruits of their labors. We'll see how long I can keep this current.
